Here’s Why Ellen Adarna Has No Intention Of Returning To Showbiz Yet
ELLEN ADARNA – Cebuana actress Ellen Adarna revealed the reason why she has no intention of returning to the entertainment industry yet.
When Ellen Adarna get pregnant, she took a hiatus from show business. She continued to avoid performing at events in the entertainment industry after giving birth to her son Elias Modesto with actor and former partner John Lloyd Cruz.
Ellen is now married to Filipino-British actor Derek Ramsay. Ellen regularly interacts with her fans on social media despite her lack of activity in show business. Just recently, the actress had a hilarious reply to a fan who asked for advice on how to go on a vacation on a tight budget.
Due to her desire to prioritize raising her son Elias and starting a family with her husband Derek Ramsay, Ellen does not currently envision herself making a comeback to the entertainment industry. As shown in a video posted on Push’s official YouTube channel last Saturday, May 6, Ellen, who has recently been making appearances at brand launch events, stressed that parenthood is her top concern right now.
“I’m not [returning to show biz] yet. I’m not saying never. But until Elias is seven, pwede na. But malabo pa at this time kasi magbubuntis pa ako, so I have to take care of it. So wala pa talagang [plans] at this time,” said Ellen.

Ellen Adarna also revealed that she and Derek Ramsay hope to start a family this year and that she will have her intrauterine device (IUD), a birth control method, removed.
“This year, we will try to get pregnant. I have my IUD [right now], but I’m going to have it taken out this June. So, hopefully [we have kids this year],” said Ellen.
The Cebuana actress revealed her co-parenting arrangement with John Lloyd Cruz has been “smooth” thus far. She previously expressed her desire for a harmonious relationship with John Lloyd and his rumored girlfriend Isabel Santos.
