PAGASA Says Frontal System to Bring Rains Over Parts of PH
The state weather bureau PAGASA said that the frontal system will bring rains over some parts of the country.
On Tuesday (May 9, 2023), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The frontal system will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the frontal system will be affecting Extreme Northern Luzon while the easterlies will affect the eastern section of the country.
The frontal system will bring cloudy skies with rains over Batanes and Babuyan Islands. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected over Bicol region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon as well as Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Visayas and Mindanao can also expect generally fair weather condition, according to the weather bureau.
The weather agency has warned the public for flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.
The coastal water condition over the western sections of Southern Luzon, rest of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will be slight to moderate.
