Bride Airs Dismay to Catering “Nightmare” Service On Her Wedding

A disappointed bride couldn’t hide her frustration and slammed the alleged “nightmare” during her wedding day due to a catering service.

On Facebook, a dissatisfied bride vents her rage at a catering provider because the couple’s almost 11-year goal of getting married has turned into a nightmare. Ruffa Duman, the bride, was concerned about their contracted catering service, which would have offered a good set-up at the location, wonderful cuisine, and an amazing experience in the most important event of their lives.

In a lengthy Facebook post, Ruffa lamented the terrible service of the catering service they engaged, which seemed to have skimped on the things they should have agreed to see at the reception site, despite the fact that they had completely paid for the sum agreed upon.

 “11 taon kaming naghintay ng araw na’ to kaya nung nag-propose sa akin si Alvin last November, hindi na ako tumigil kakahanap at kaka-search ng gusto naming motif at style. Pinaghandaan namin ang aming kasal ng halos limang buwan dahil alam naming deserve namin nang maayos at magandang wedding,” she shared.

“Pero anong ginawa nyo? Sinira nyo ang araw na supposedly ay pinakamasaya para sa aming dalawa at aming pamilya pero naging pinakamalungkot pa. May 3 palang pina set-up nyo na ang pitong tent na gagamitin at inakala namin na sisimulan nyo na ang pag-aayos ng araw na iyon dahil alam natin pare-pareho na matiltil ang rustic design na napagkasunduan natin,” she added.

Despite the allegation, she continued, the food service did nothing at the location. She explained that the catering was still organizing the items that will be brought and used.

The bride also disclosed that she called them at 5 a.m. to start the ceremony, but they said they would arrive at 4 p.m. because it was still hot and they are used to executing that kind of setup even if it starts in the afternoon. However, it is late afternoon and there is still no design at the place.

“Super stress na ang lahat sa bahay namin dahil hapon na pero wala pang kahit anong design sa venue. Bakit? Dahil nung hapon ding iyon kayo pabalik-balik sa paghahakot ng mga gagamitin nyo na supposedly ahead of time nyo pa ginawa! Tapos, nalaman ko pang nilayasan nyo ang venue para kumain sa labas kahit alam nyong may nakahain na at pinapakain na kayo ng mga tao?”

“Tawag ako nang tawag at chat nang chat sa’yo pero hindi ka man lang nasagot kahit online ka. 8PM na kayo bumalik at nung mga oras ding iyon mo pinapanday sa mga kapatid ko at pinsan ng asawa ko ang mga dapat sanay nagawa na nang maaga. Saan ka nakatala ng ganong catering service? Kami pa ang pinagpanday mo ng mga pandesign mo?” she stressed.
