Dingdong Dantes has a new project
Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes shared his thoughts on working again with veteran actor Tirso Cruz III.
Dingdong is set to showcase his acting caliber once again. These past few months, he became busy doing his hosting stints. Now, he is set to do a new series which his fans have been waiting for a long time now.
Based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Dingdong will have a reunion project with Tirso. They worked together in the series Sana ay Ikaw Na Nga in 2002. In 2010, they were able to work together once again and this was for the series Endless Love.
Dingdong Dantes and Tirso Cruz III’s new project together is the murder mystery drama Royal Blood. In the said series, they will play the father-and-son characters. Upon knowing that he will be working with Tirso, Dingdong shared that he could not contain his excitement.
“Nu’ng malaman ko na makakasama ko siya sa Royal Blood sobrang saya,” the Kapuso Primetime King said. He also said that Tirso is very fatherly and very warm on the set. Dingdong added that he learns a lot from the multi-awarded actor.
However, the Family Feud host said that Tirso has a funny side. “Iyon ‘yung pinakamahalaga kasi talagang hindi pwedeng palaging serious dahil mahirap ‘yung trabahong ginagawa kahit papaano we have time to laugh and take things lightly, and that’s what he provides,” Dingdong shared.
In Royal Blood, the Primetime King plays the character of Napoy who is a loving single father. He always makes sure to provide for the needs of his child by working hard as a motorcycle driver. Tirso will give life to the character of Gustavo Royales, a business tycoon who is the biological father of Napoy.
