Katy Perry, Andrea Bocelli, Lionel Richie Set To Perform For King Charles III’s Show
KATY PERRY – The royal family will recognize a few performers at King Charles III’s coronation concert, including Katy Perry, Andrea Bocelli, and Lionel Richie.
King Charles III is now the ruler of the United Kingdom. He is the eldest son of the late Queen Elizabeth II who passed away on September 8 at her summer home in Scotland.
Charles and the late Princess Diana Spencer have two (2) sons – Princes William and Harry. Charles’s younger son Harry will attend his coronation despite his public criticisms of the royal family since immigrating to the US in early 2020.
Months of rumors about Prince Harry’s appearance came to an end with this declaration. Meghan Markle, an actress, and their two young children, however, will stay in California.
The solemn religious ritual, whose origins go back more than a millennium, was still being prepared for, and the guest list had been finalized.
However, 46% of Britons indicated they would probably attend or participate in festivities on May 8, which has been designated a public holiday, including street parties and communal dinners.

The BBC announced on Friday that Take That, Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Andrea Bocelli will all perform at a concert to mark King Charles III’s coronation. On May 7, the day after Charles is formally anointed king, a televised Coronation Concert will take place on the grounds of Windsor Castle, west of London.
The coronation was a “once in a generation occasion,” according to BBC Chief Content Officer Charlotte Moore, who also described the concert lineup as “world class.”
According to the report, in addition to the expected 20,000 attendees and invited guests in person, the live event will also be aired on the radio and online. Opera artist Bryn Terfel, singer-songwriter Freya Ridings, and composer-producer Alexis Ffrench are among the other confirmed performers at the event.
Richie, Take That, and Perry all have connections to Charles’ humanitarian foundations. Perry also played at US President Joe Biden’s inauguration in 2021.
The event, according to Richie, who is only one year younger than the monarch at 73, will be an “honor and a celebration.” Previously, Bocelli sang for Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away in September of last year at the age of 96.
