PAGASA Says Storm-Free & Warm Weather Condition Expected in Coming Days

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Friday (April 14, 2023)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that storm-free and warm weather conditions are expected in the coming days.

On Friday (April 14, 2023), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The low-pressure area formerly “Amang” will still affect the country’s weather conditions.

PAGASA reported that Amang was last located 40 kilometers southwest of Iba, Zambales. It will bring rain over Metro Manila and five other provinces.

The LPA will bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Zambales, and Bataan.

The LPA and localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

The weather agency advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the eastern section as well as the rest of the country will be slight to moderate.

Pagasa weather specialist Benison Estareja reported that Dry, warm weather is expected in the coming days. No store is expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility over the weekend.

“Magandang balita naman po dahil wala na tayong inaasahang bagyo na panibago na papasok ng ating Philippine area of responsibility sa mga susunod po yan na araw, and as a consequence, babalik po ang mainit at maalinsangan panahon sa malaking bahagi ng ating bansa sa mga susunod na araw,” Estareja said.
