Kim Atienza Not Afraid to Die: “Alam kong pupunta ako sa langit”

Kim Atienza Admits Not Afraid to Die Having Assurance He Will Go to Heaven

TV host and trivia master Kuya Kim Atienza admitted that he is not afraid to die as he is sure he will go to heaven.

Kim Atienza, the host-anchor of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” claimed in an interview that he is not afraid to die since he believes he will go to heaven. Atienza had previously had near-death experiences, so Abunda inquired about his thoughts on “death.”

“Hindi na ako takot mamatay, Boy. I can die today… kasi alam ko kung saan ako pupunta. Alam kong pupunta ako sa langit…because I accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and repented for my sins. I still sin, all have sinned and fall short of His glory, but I repent all the time,” he said.

“Sigurado akong pupunta ako sa langit. Not because of my works, but because I have faith in him and he died on the cross for me,” he added.

He believes he will get to heaven because he trusted in the Lord Jesus, not because of his “work.” If he knew when he was going to die, he would go hug his wife and spend the rest of his time with her.

“Sasabihin ko kung gaano ko siya kamahal. Kakausapin ko mga anak kong nasa America sasabihin ko kung gaano ko sila kamahal,” said Kuya Kim during the interview.

He stated that he will tell all the individuals he can that he loves them. Meanwhile, his life story will be told on “Magpakailanman” on April 1. Kim Atienza, also known as “Kuya Kim,” is a Filipino television host, actor, weather forecaster, and animal rights activist.
