Are Ex-Couple Maricel Soriano & Edu Manzano in Good Terms?
MARICEL SORIANO – The Philippines’ Diamond Star spoke about her ex-husband, Edu Manzano, and his girlfriend, actress Cherry Pie Picache.
Some actors and actresses in the Philippine showbiz industry made a huge name in the field and their careers have survived decades. One of them is veteran actress Maricel Soriano who is tagged as the country’s Diamond Star.
Usually called by her showbiz friends as Maria, Maricel is an award-winning actress who came from a non-showbiz family. She is an awardee of the Dolphy King of Comedy Award, Iconic Movie Queen of Philippine Cinema, and several Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress awards. She is also an international awardee as she won the Best Actress award for Numbalikdiwa.
With regards to her personal life, it is no secret to the public that Maricel had previously relationships with some known men in the showbiz industry such as actors Ronnie Ricketts and Edu Manzano. She and Ronnie have an adopted son, Marron.
Maricel Soriano and Edu Manzano got married 1989. However, they separated in 1991. Meanwhile, the former couple visibly have a good relationship with each other now.
During her vlog interview with actress Dina Bonnevie, Maricel Soriano even spoke about Edu Manzano and Cherry Pie Picache, his current girlfriend, when Dina asked her about him. She expressed that Edu is okay and he and Cherry are still together. She now refers to their relationship as friendship and no longer calls her “ex”.
