Is there a conflict between Herlene Budol and Wilbert Tolentino?
Businessman-talent manager Wilbert Tolentino has this reaction when asked about the rumored conflict between him and Kapuso actress Herlene Budol.
Herlene has expressed in past interviews how thankful she is for having Wilbert as her manager. From being a comedienne, she transformed into a beauty queen. Eventually, she officially became an actress.
She is currently signed with GMA-7 and the taping for her first TV series started late last year. It is expected that this project will air this 2023.
Just recently, speculations surfaced that there is a conflict between the actress and the talent manager. It is because of Herlene Budol’s absence during the ribbon-cutting event for Wilbert Tolentino’s Tokyo Grill Japanese restaurant in Quezon City.
Based on the article in Abante, “marites” were speculating that Herlene did not take an effort to be with her manager during that event when actress Sanya Lopez was able to do that.
Wilbert debunked this speculation about him and Herlene. “Naku, wala! Hahaha. Hindi lang talaga puwede ngayon si Herlene dahil nasa taping siya. Pero noong isang araw, nandirito siya. Nag-vlog pa nga siya. Hayaan na natin ‘yung mga nang-iintriga,” he said, adding that he is happy that he has opened a new business.
When asked if he is also managing Sanya because the actress attended the event, he said that he and the actress have long been friends.
“Noon ko pa ka-close si Sanya and I’m so happy nga dahil kahit ang aga ng ribbon cutting, dumating siya. Thankful ako. Napakabait na tao ni Sanya at hindi nagbabago ng ugali kahit sikat na sikat na,” the talent manager of Herlene Budol said.
