Bea Alonzo did a slap scene that has become unforgettable for her
Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo recalled that she had to repeat a slap scene 25 times in a past project.
Bea is being tagged as the movie queen of her generation. Throughout the years, she has done drama TV series several times and done emotional scenes in movies as well. However, there was a scene that pained her physically.
The actress talked about this in her recent vlog collaboration with YouTuber chef Ninong Ry. She shared that she had to do a slap scene in a past project and this reached 25 takes.
“Totoo ‘yung sampalan. Dati 25 takes ako,” the actress shared with the chef while they were cooking. “Tapos pumutok ‘yung bibig ko. Tapos tuloy pa rin,” Bea Alonzo added, highlighting the professionalism one should have to be in this industry.
When Ninong Ry asked the actress why it had to take so long and perhaps the slap was not perfect, she answered, “Kasi ‘yung director namin nu’n, ano siya e, parang perfectionist.”
Meanwhile, Bea shared previously her experience working with Pepito Manaloto actor Michael V. The actress said that when she guested on the Kapuso long-running gag show Bubble Gang, she was not able to meet Bitoy, who is among the pioneer cast members.
She has been wishing for the moment to do a skit with the popular comedian and she was able to do this when she guested on Bitoy’s sitcom.
Bea Alonzo admitted that she is a big fan of Michael V and Bubble Gang. She even recalled her favorite skit. “I remember growing up, pinanonood ko ang mga parodies nya at pagtatagalog ng western songs!” she wrote in her past, adding as well the characters Yaya and Angelina.
