Bea Alonzo has these straightforward answers to Boy Abunda’s questions
Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo admitted that she felt bad when King of Talk Boy Abunda interviewed her ex-boyfriend Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson.
In 2021, Tito Boy sat down with Gerald for an interview. At that time, the actor formally confirmed his relationship with actress Julia Barretto and debunked the ghosting accusation against him coming from his ex-girlfriend.
That interview went controversial, especially when people who were taking the side of Bea expressed negative reactions. In a statement following that interview, the King of Talk said that he was just doing his job and he was taking the path that Gerald wanted to lead at that time.
The seasoned TV host also said that he respects Gerald’s truth as much as he respects Bea’s truth. For the third episode of his new show Fast Talk on GMA, Boy Abunda asked the former Kapamilya actress if she was “nagtampo” for his interview with Gerald Anderson.
Bea Alonzo said that she felt bad due to that interview because she is human after all. On the other hand, the fact that Tito Boy was thinking about her pacified her. “Yun yung tumatakbo sa isip ko noon, ‘iniisip kaya ako ni Tito Boy?'” the actress shared.
She also stressed that as a human being, she would feel hurt no matter who would interview her ex-boyfriend at that time. “It would hurt, especially if half of the time he wasn’t really telling the truth,” Bea said.
The actress also shared that she cried because of that but she realized that it was part of Tito Boy’s job. Bea also knows that as a great interviewer, he would really try to get both sides of the story. She shared that the seasoned TV host actually reached out to her at that time and ask her if she is willing to do an interview also. However, Bea said that she opted not to.
