In the final episodes of Mars Ravelo’s Darna, the main character portrayed by actress Jane De Leon faces the war-stricken Nueva Esperanza. She is missioned to defeat Heneral Borgo and Valentina.
But before the ending, certain characters bade goodbye. Brian Robles played by Joshua Garcia died and was killed by Valentina, the role of Janella Salvador. Valentina’s venomous comeback ended Bryan’s life.
And the ending is surely promising a massive battle and more sacrifices. But apart from the ending, someone’s appearance surprised thousands of viewers.
In the finale episode, beauty queen Celeste Cortesi appeared as the Queen of Marte. In the story, Marte is the planet where Darna has come from and her existence on Earth is her alter ego that appears whenever Narda would swallow the magical stone.
Meanwhile, Celeste wore a Darna costume during the Miss Universe 2022 pageant for national costume. The costume was accessorized and intended to be shiny to represent the Philippines that is shining through everywhere.
Before Celeste was able to march down this costume in the beauty pageant, they waited for the approval of the creator of Darna first.
On Twitter, many people expressed their admiration for her appearance. Many were happy about it.
Meanwhile, the finale episode of Darna has accumulated over 250K online viewers.
