Police Man Rescues Passengers After Bus Driver Suffers Stroke During Trip
A bus driver suffered a stroke during the trip but a brave cop takes over the stirring wheel and rescue to the passengers.
Nowadays, road accident has been one of the major traffic problems in different countries all around the world including the Philippines. It usually causes traffic congestions or injuries to involved individuals.
Most accidents happen unintentionally wherein unexpected incidents happen along the road. Drivers and motorists were advised to take precautionary measures to avoid accidents.
On Wednesday (February 9, 2023), Dinapigue Police Station Master Sgt. Roland Gacal reported that a 45-year-old bus driver identified as Jefferson Ballad suffered a stroke while driving across Maharlika Highway, Libag Sur, Tuguegarao City.
Gacal narrated that the driver experienced shaking of hands and foam came out from his mouth. The driver nearly loses control of the vehicle but the brave policeman takes over the stirring wheel to prevent an accident.
“Nanginginig kamay ng driver, nanigas siya at patirik na mata saka bumula ang bibig kaya napilitan ako na i-manage ang manibela at naiwasang mabangga mga kasalubong na sasakyan” Gacal said.
The bus driver sustained wounds and injuries after hitting the fence of house beside the road. “Hindi naman maiwasang bumangga sa pader dahil nakatapak sa gasolina ang driver,” Gacal said.
The cop instructed the passengers to get out of the bus to ensure their safety. Ballad suffered dizziness while driving the bus. The bus departed from Cubao, Quezon City around 5:00 pm on February 7, 2023, and the driver suffered a stroke on February 8.
