Paolo Contis Discredits Kathryn Bernardo, All Praises To Alden Richards?

Netizens react to the statement of Paolo Contis discrediting Kathryn Bernardo.

PAOLO CONTIS – Did Paolo Contis just discredit Kathryn Bernardo in the success of “Hello, Love, Goodbye?”

Hello, Love, Goodbye is the highest-grossing Philippine film of all time starring Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo. This is a romantic drama film directed by Cathy Garcia Molina. It follows the story of Joy Fabregas (Bernardo) and Ethan Del Rosario (Richards) who attempt to juggle their personal careers and love for each other.

This is also the first time that a Kapuso star and a Kapamilya star collaborated on a film. Their chemistry clicked with the audience making the film surpass the Php 880 million mark.

But the collaborative work of the stars for this film was neglected in the words of Paolo Contis. Currently, a clip of him circulated online where he was confidently saying that the number one film of ABS-CBN and Star Cinema was done by Richards. It has put confusion to many and they also noted how he did not mince words when he did not give due credit to Bernardo whose performance in the film earned several awards.

Bernardo is a Kapamilya star.

“Yung number 1 movie ng Star Cinema at ABS-CBN taga-GMA yung artista,” he claims which for him is a fact.

Kathryn, on the other hand, has several hit films and projects under her belt as an actress.

Here are the comments of the people:

That movie was dominated by artists from ABS-CBN, not to mention the lead role is played by Kathryn Bernardo..

How many hit movies had he done after?

If it’s not Kathryn, do you think it would be number 1? I don’t think so
