In a new social media post, Kris Aquino shares an update about her condition in a message she penned for her mother.
KRIS AQUINO – In an open letter, Kris Aquino laid everything out regarding her life in a message she penned for her late mother’s birthday.
January 25, 2023, is the 90th birthday of the late president Cory Aquino, mother of Kris Aquino. In an Instagram post, Kris penned an open letter to the person she deeply and greatly loves. And in the same letter, she allowed her vulnerability to show as she revealed an update about her current condition.
In the letter, Kris expressed that she learned from her mother to always be grateful and this being said, she revealed the truth for the people who care for her to know. She explained that she is allergic to steroids, the medicine that can help her autoimmune situation.
She tried it one time but the pain was bone-deep and she has to send her son back beside her in order to feel better. And her bunso is very understanding to do anything for her. She added about Bimby: “Mom, he’s the bunso you deserve – he’s responsible, caring, not magastos, puts my needs before his – Tito Noy would be so proud.”
Talking to her mom and to people who love her through that letter, she shared the four autoimmune diseases she has – chronic spontaneous urticaria, autoimmune thyroiditis, Churg Strauss Syndrome or EGPA, and Scleroderma.
She is likely to have a fifth and there’s also a 50 percent chance that a 6th one will develop.
And for her mother’s birthday, she is about to fulfill what she promised to her Kuya Josh and that is to go to the happiest place on Earth. She will try her hardest to ride at least five rides to give her Kuya happy memories despite the ordeal they are going through.
She wants her sons to see that “they are worth all the pain and discomfort” because they still need her.
Toward the end of her letter, she noted what he mother said while she was alive and that is to find a male version of her to have a successful relationship. But what she realized is that she sees more of her in her than anyone else. With this, she is no longer in search of someone to complete her. This time, she knows her worth.
