Is it true that Toni Gonzaga is struggling to get guests for her show?
TONI GONZAGA – Cristy Fermin claims in a recent episode of her show that Toni Gonzaga is having a hard time inviting guests for “Toni”.
AMBS Network is the newest network in the country owned by former Senator Manny Villar. AMBS stands for Advanced Media Broadcasting System, Channel 2. And among the contract stars of the network is Multimedia star Toni Gonzaga who is very happy to be a part of the company.
In this network, she hosts a self-titled show wherein the format is very similar to her YouTube show. To recall, last February 2022, she officially stepped down as host of the reality show PBB after 16 years, also leaving ABS-CBN which was struggling for a lack of a franchise at that time.
She resigned a day after she hosted the proclamation rally of President Bongbong Marcos.
Her show is seemingly doing well as she has interviewed several artists already. However, in the recent episode of Cristy Fermin’s show, the veteran columnist shared that Toni is allegedly having a hard time inviting guests she can interview in her self-titled talk show.
This struggle, according to the hosts’ speculations, is still because of his political color. Fermin said, “Parang gusto raw sabihin nung mga iniimbita, ‘Eh teka muna, magkalaban nga tayo nun, pagkatapos ngayon papailalim ako sayo?’ Parang ganun.”
She was inviting guests of another political color and the invitation doesn’t feel right for the guests. Fermin even added her thoughts about the new network. Based on her observation, this seems like not the right time for AMBS to enter the field of media and television.
