Andi Eigenmann Admits Crying Over Marimar Role: 'Now I'm living that Marimar life'

Celebrity mom Andi Eigenmann admitted that she cried when she did not get the role of Marimar but now, she is living the life of a happy island girl like Marimar.

Andi chose to live a simpler and close-to-nature life on the island of Siargao with her family. For many people, this was a crazy decision that she made when she left the glitz and glamour of showbiz for a life away from the big city.

However, when her critics saw that she is happy and had become more vibrant in living the life she chose, she was flooded with support. Andi would share photos of her surfing adventures and the bonding moments she has with her family, as well as her encounters with people in Siargao.

In a recent Instagram Story that she shared, the daughter of veteran actress Jaclyn Jose shared a netizen’s comment. “Parang si Marimar. Ka guapa na lang,” the netizen commented.

Andi Eigenmann answered this comment with a “fun fact.” She shared that it saddened her that she was not been able to be part of the Marimar series. The lead female character was portrayed by Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera. The Kapuso series aired from 2007 to 2008. It was based on the original Mexican telenovela played by Thalia.

She also shared that in past, she also dreamed of becoming Dyesebel who was played by Anne Curtis in a Kapamilya series that aired in 2014. Those characters’ natures were near the sea or in the sea.

“FUN FACT: I cried so hard when I didn’t get cast as Marimar (FYI I was so young and I didn’t even audition)(same w/ Dyesebel!!) But you get it! LOL! And now here I am living that Marimar and Dyesebel and Marina life in real life!! Manifestation is REAL!” Andi wrote.
