Delivery Rider Describes Deanna Wong “mabait naman siya” During Encounter
DEANNA WONG – A delivery rider described the volleyball player after meeting her in-person “For me mukhang mabait naman siya”.
Last year, the volleyball team Choco Mucho has been one of the most discussed topics online after the members reportedly snub and give cold responses to the fans who approached them at Boracay.
The group did not even bother to wave or greet their supporters but the supporters kept on greeting them and shouting for the names of the players.
Choco Mucho player Deanna Wong earned negative reactions after snubbing a female fan. She ignored the fan named Rajin Navarro asking for a selfie inside the mall.
Several videos also show how Wong allegedly ignored some of her fans. However, some of Wong’s supporters defended her and explained that athletes were just humans who need some space.
Recently, a delivery rider named Eduardo Batara, Jr. shared his selfie with Deanna who booked a trip. His post quickly circulates online and earned reactions from the netizens.
The rider described the athlete as a kind and friendly person who granted his request for a selfie.
“For me mukhang mabait naman siya. Ewan ko na lang sa iba. Noong na-pick up ko yung booking, akala ko nagkamali lang ako sa basa ng pangalan, noong tinanong ko yung nagpadala kung yung volleyball player yung mag-receive ayaw pa sabihin pero nang pagdating ko sa drop off area, nagulat na lang ako nang makita ko na siya nag-receive sa padala,” Batara said.
