The supporters defended the athlete and reminded them of the incident that happened in Cebu when her fans flocked to her home without informing her. The incident happened when Wong was having vacation with her family last April 2022.
In the video, it can be seen that Deanna’s family was surprised by the sudden appearance of fans around the gate. The family could not go out due to the massive amount of fans in front of the house.
The athlete’s mom said that some supporters even came from Visayas and Mindanao
The video shows that the female player’s response to the fans was different than the recent incident. She approached the fans waiting outside the gate and greeted them. Wong even signed autographs and had a chat with some fans. The controversial athlete even goes outside to greet others fans.
Her supporters explained that Deanna was supposed to be resting during that time and not obliged to meet her fans.
