Herlene Budol on Netizen Suggesting to Join MU: “Bob* po ako haha”

Herlene Budol Reacts on Netizen Suggesting She Should Join MU

Former beauty queen and comedian Herlene Budol hilariously answered a netizen suggesting she should join Miss Universe (MU).

Many pageant fans were surprised when the Philippines’ representative, Celeste Cortesi, failed to make the Top 16 in the Miss Universe 2022 competition. The Philippines’ performance in the prestigious pageant has been termed the “worst” since 2010.

For the first time in twelve years, the Philippines did not proceed to the pageant’s semi-finals. This is a significant dilemma for Pinoy pageant fans, especially since Celeste is one of the competitors that can be considered a strong contender.

She has consistently been listed as a “top selection” on pageant websites and vlogs. Meanwhile, several internet users asked that Celeste be replaced as the Philippines’ representative in the competition.

Herlene Budol MU

Herlene Budol is one of the suggestions made by netizens. According to a netizen, Herlene should compete in the MU, stating she could place in the top five. Herlene, on the other hand, retorted comically that it is impossible since she is not smart enough to answer difficult questions.

“Siguro kung ang nag join sa MU kahit panu nakasali ka sa top 5,” the netizen said based on the snippet shared by internet personality Senyora.

“Malabo, bobo po ako haha,” Herlene replied to the netizen.

It can be recalled that Herlene finished first runner-up and received numerous minor honors at the Binibining Pilipinas pageant in 2022. Herlene also competed in Miss Planet International in Uganda, which turned out to be disastrous for her. Herlene described her experiences in Uganda as difficult.
