Actress Rhen Escaño received a body-shaming comment from a netizen who called her “flat” and she received support from her fellow actresses Lovi Poe and Chynna Ortaleza.

In being a celebrity, looking good is part of the business. It is a known fact that some celebrities, some may admit it or not, resort to enhancing their physical features. On the other hand, there were those who are just simply satisfied with what they had and just highlight their other features.

However, there are instances when other people’s opinions can affect celebrities. It is also a known fact that a lot of celebrities are victims of body shaming but for Rhen, it does not bother her.

Just recently, Rhen shared photos on her Instagram in which she was wearing a top with a plunging neckline. Although her fans expressed admiration for her beauty, there was one netizen who wrote a negative reaction, based on the article in the Philippine Entertainment Portal.

A netizen commented, “Flat” and included a crying emoji. Rhen replied to this with, “Yuck, body shamer.”

The actress also shared a screenshot of the netizen’s comment on her Twitter page. She included her photo in the post in which she was sticking her tongue out. “E ano kung flat? 2023 na, body shamer ka parin? Para kayong bo@bs ko. Walang character development,” she wrote in the caption of her post.

This received a comment from Lovi Poe and Chynna Ortaleza. “Wahahaha welcome to the Flaternity!” Lovi commented while Chynna said, “Flaternity is power!” Both actresses are known for not being so blessed when it comes to that area of the body but they are not ashamed of it. Rhen replied to Lovi’s post. “Hahaha flat is the new s=xy,” the younger actress said.
