Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto has ordered the closure of the branch of KFC in Pasig City for failing to observe cleanliness.

Vico Sotto announced that Pasig City LGU shuts down the branch of a popular fast-food chain in Pasig City for not following the standard procedure in disposing wastewater. The post earns various reactions from netizens.

According to the politician, the restaurant reportedly disposes the wastewater in the creek. He also noticed that “sebo” goes along with the wastewater. Sotto also revealed that the establishment has no environmental permit to operate.

The 33-year-old town mayor clarified that KFC can resume its operation after acquiring the necessary permits and documents.
