Students from the UST Junior Judo Team are allegedly coming home after celebrating their victory in the competition. Meanwhile, Police Corporal Marvin Castro of the Manila Police Department arrived in the neighborhood to respond to the suspected domestic violence when he saw the students’ ruckus.

According to MPD P/Brig. Gen. Andre Dizon, Castro admonished the students, but as soon as they got a few meters away, they began making noise again. As a result, the responding cop accosted them once more.

Castro, according to Dizon, did not direct the gun at the students. Castro apologized to the students’ parents, but their reaction was enraged due to the dread and worry it supposedly caused them. Based on the report, there was no justification for the cops to get out their firearms, handcuffs, or get into the police car, according to a student.

As a result, Castro has been thrown in hot water, and he has also relinquished his service handgun while the inquiry continues and officials await the psychological evaluation of the students.
