Vice Ganda Airs Message For Direk Bobet, Billy & Other Former Hosts

On a rare chance, Vice Ganda sincerely expressed his message to these former Showtime people.

VICE GANDA – During “It’s Showtime!” live, Vice Ganda becomes emotional as he let out sincere messages for these people including Direk Bobet Vidanes.

When Direk Bobet Vidanes left “It’s Showtime!”, several controversies and speculations immediately surrounded it. He expressed this as he revealed the personal reason on why he left: “Kasi po yung pagta-tatrabaho ko sa kabila, hindi na po healthy. Mamamatay po akong maaga. Ang ganda ng programa but it’s not healthy anymore.”

While many thought that it was because of the ABS-CBN shutdown, for him, it was for his mental health. The Kapamilya noontime show went on and changed director. The traditional stuff the show do when he was still the director continued.

And this, during the announcement of the Magpasikat grand champion for the show’s 13th anniversary, main host Vice Ganda emotionally recalled all the people who were formerly a part of the show and expressed his gratitude to them. It included Direk Bobet.

He expressed his appreciation to the former Showtime people who pioneered everything.

“Gusto ko rin magpasalamat sa mga hindi na natin kasama. Dahil yung mga hindi na natin kasama, sila yung nagsimula ng programang ito. Isa sila sa mga unang taong nag-isip, napagod, naging paa’t kamay ng programa,” he said.

“Direk Bobet Vidanes, thank you very much. Direk Mel Feliciano, thank you very much. Direk Boyet, thank you very much,” he expressed as he mentioned the former directors of the show who are no longer with them as they celebrate a milestone.

The superstar comedian also mentioned the former hosts such as Kuya Kim Atienza, Billy Crawford, Coleen Garcia, Eruption, Joey Marquez, and other staff of the show who are no longer working with them. He expressed his gratitude for all of them.

He wanted to remember everything and the people because before everything has gone all bad, they were a happy family.
