Cristy Fermin shared this story about Kris Aquino and Toni Gonzaga
Veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin revealed that Queen of all Media Kris Aquino once said to Ultimate Multimedia Star Toni Gonzaga, “I’m mad at you.”
Kris was one of the queens of ABS-CBN when she was still active in showbiz. She is also being tagged as the Queen of Talk. Back then, she had TV shows and a lot of endorsements, aside from her teleserye and movie projects.
Toni has established her name in the entertainment industry not just as an actress and singer, but also as a talk show host. In a recent episode of Showbiz Now Na of Cristy Fermin with Romel Chika and Morly Alinio, they talked about the success that Toni has reached and her current show on ALLTV, the TONI.
The YouTube showbiz talk show hosts lauded Toni for doing a good job in her hosting stint on the new network. They also said that a lot of lessons can be learned from the show.
Then, Cristy shared a story she called an “anecdote.” The veteran showbiz writer said that there was a time when Kris Aquino and Toni Gonzaga met and the Queen of Talk said to the younger celebrity, “I don’t like you. I’m mad at you.”
When Toni asked, “bakit po, Miss Kris?”, the former presidential daughter said that it was because she had a dream in which Toni was taking over all of her shows on ABS-CBN.
“Panaginip pa lang ‘yon, inisnab na siya,” Cristy said, adding that Toni was surprised by this. However, the veteran showbiz writer said that this really happened as Toni did a lot of shows on the Kapamilya network and this has boosted her career.
Cristy Fermin also reiterated that there is no truth to the rumors that Toni Gonzaga received half a billion pesos from ALLTV as her talent fee.
