Cops Rescue a Broken Lady Trying to End Life by Jumping off a bridge in SJDM
Cops were lauded online after they rescue an alleged ‘broken’ lady who attempted to end her life by jumping off a bridge in San Jose Del Monte (SJDM), Bulacan.
Images of two police officers saving a woman were praised by internet users on Facebook. The photographs depict the Sunday, September 18, successful rescue of a woman who attempted to jump from the Tialo Bridge in Barangay Minuyan.
The woman was discovered, according to the San Jose del Monte Police report, while officers were out on patrol under the command of PLTCOL Ronlando Lumactod, Jr. and PCP 5 Commander Edsel Israel. According to reports, the woman was preparing to leap from a metal Tialo Bridge barrier as she was sitting there when she was prevented by authorities.
The woman is reportedly depressed because her relationship ended, according to their interview. The cops came to her aid right away, gave her sound moral counsel, and drove her to his house in Barangay Graceville.
PSSG Louie D. Lazo and PSSG Arjel C. Torres were the officers who came to the rescue. Netizens praised it, including Ronalyn, president of the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation in San Jose del Monte.
“Kudos to these 2 alert policemen who urgently rescue and extend their concern to her. Praying for her well being. #MentalHealthMatters,” she said in his Facebook post.
