Bong Go Gives New Bicycle to Student Using Unicycle Going to School
Senator Christopher “Bong” Go gives a new bicycle to a female student who went viral for riding a unicycle just to go to her school.
The longtime aide of former President Rodrigo Duterte gave the 12-year-old student girl Hannamichi a brand-new bicycle after her story gained popularity on social media. Hannamichi lives in Bocaue, Bulacan.
Blogger BanatBy reported on his encounter with the pupil and a few of the senator’s employees. According to the Go team, the Senator received the popular video and was moved enough to decide to give her a new bicycle.
BanatBy also provided 10,000 pesos to Hannamichi. You may remember that Hannamichi gained notoriety on social media after a netizen caught him riding his unicycle to school.
The student told him during their interview that, in order to save money, she had considered riding a unicycle to and from school. She claimed that because they don’t have enough money for meals, she saves the money instead of paying a fee to ride a tricycle home.
She added that because of their meager income, her parents were helpless to help their daughter get a nicer bicycle. Hannamichi’s parents were proud of her for never complaining despite their lack of money.
