Food Delivery Rider Willing to Take Side Gigs for Rescued Cats
A food delivery rider in Antipolo touches many hearts for working multiple side jobs not for himself, but for the sake of his rescued cat.
On Saturday, July 26, 2025, Facebook user Jeremiah Mendoza, a 26-year-old rider offers various services in exchange for cash, dry cat food, or cat litter. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
Once a professional with a stable life, Mendoza shared that he lost everything and is now starting over. While working as a food delivery driver, he continues to hustle through extra jobs to stay afloat.
The rider explained that the rescued kitten has brought him joy and comfort during a difficult chapter in his life, and now he’s doing everything he can to provide for it.
Jeremiah posted a few photos, including one where he is seen gently bathing the kitten in a plastic tub.
The latter receive an outpouring support from the online community. Some people shared advice on proper cat care, warning him against feeding cats canned tuna or sardines and suggesting more pet-friendly, affordable options like boiled vegetables and chicken.
The fur parent also mentioned he offers more than just delivery services. He’s open to tasks like bike repairs, grocery runs, cleaning homes, doing paint jobs, and even simply accompanying someone on errands.
He humbly added that he can also act as a personal assistant carrying items, picking people up, or helping out however he can.
