Police Authorities Arrest Akyat Bahay Suspect for Stealing Valuables Worth P200k

The police authorities were able to arrest an akyat bahay suspect for stealing valuables worth P200, 000 from a house in Muntinlupa.

Nowadays, robbery has been one of the major problems not only in the Philippines but also in various regions all around the world. Some criminals have no choice but to commit crimes due to lack of job opportunities.

The Philippine government is implementing stricter policy but the crimes continue to exist behind the knowledge of the authorities. The rate of criminality continue to increase despite the stricter rules and regulations.

Akyat Bahay Suspect

The male suspect identified as Eno Almonalida has been spotted breaking into a house in Muntinlupa. However, the CCTV footage failed to capture the act of robbery inside the victim’s house.

The culprit stole an expensive laptop, watch, mobile phone, and mountain bike, which were amounting P200, 000. The disappointed victims immediately reported the incident to the police authorities.

Muntinlupa Police Chief Police Colonel Angel Garcillano said that the authorities immediately launched a follow-up operation and were able to trace and arrest the suspect.

“We are able to generate all possible suspects and later po naging successful ang ating identification that led to the arrest of the suspect and the confiscation of all stolen items,” Garcillano said.

Almonalida admitted his crime and apologized for his wrongdoings. The latter also explained that he commit such a crime to earn money for his daughter who was confined at the hospital.

The victims also expressed their gratitude to the police authorities for helping them to recover the stolen items.
