PAGASA Says ITCZ & LPA to Bring Cloudy Skies w/ Rains OVer Parts of PH on Saturday (August 27, 2022)
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the low-pressure area and Intertropical Convergence Zone will bring cloudy skies and rains over parts of the country.
On Saturday (August 27, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The low-pressure area and Intertropical Convergence Zone will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the Low Pressure Area has been last spotted at the coastal waters of Polillo, Quezon. The Intertropical Convergence Zone will be affecting Mindanao.
The low-pressure area will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over CALABARZON, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Camarines Norte, and Camarines Sur.
The Intertropical Convergence Zone will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, Occidental Mindoro, and Mindanao.
Northern Samar and the rest of Bicol Region as well as Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience similar weather condition.
The weather agency has also advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
