Jane de Leon Shares Mom’s Reaction After Seeing Her As Darna
JANE DE LEON – Actress Jane de Leon recently shared how her mom Marie de Leon reacted after seeing her as Darna.
Actress Jane De Leon is the Darna of Kapamilya’s new show “Darna TV Series,” in the 5th episode of the series, her powerful and fierce transformation finally happened.
In a previous article, Jane’s transformation into the iconic superheroine caught the attention of the netizens and she was praised. The Kapamilya star proved to her doubters that she is deserving of the role. It is known to many that she received bashing from people who doubted her ability to give justice to the iconic superhero character.
Jane de Leon proved to her bashers that she can pull it off despite the fact that she is a newbie in the entertainment industry. The Darna role was previously offered to Angel Locsin, and then, to Liza Soberano.
The director of the Darna series, Chito Roño, commended Jane’s acting. The award-winning director said she did great. Jane also received praises from netizens and fellow celebrities.
The mother of the 23-year-old actress became emotional after seeing her as Darna for the first time.

On Friday, August 19, Jane had her Darna transformation. The actress posted videos of her mother crying after watching her transformation into Darna.
“My family after seeing me as Darna for the first time. I love you mama! Para sa inyo to ni papa and kuya!” she wrote.
In the video, the young actress gave her mom a warm hug to comfort her. Watch the video below:
