“Darna TV Series” stars Kapamilya actress Jane De Leon as the new Darna. She was initially questioned about how and why she got the role. She had doubters but in a previous article, she appealed to her critics to give the series a chance and also give her a chance to show them that she is also deserving of the role.
When it comes to her physical transformation, she went through an intense diet and workout to achieve a body fit for the Darna role. Apart from keeping her body fit, she is also making sure to keep her well-being in a good state.
And just recently, in the August 19 episode of the series, she officially transformed into the iconic superheroine showing off her well-crafted red and gold costume as Darna. As the new-age Darna, her costume shouts strength and fierceness. She also wore red headgear.
In a post sharing the official poster of the series, the actress wrote this in the caption: “Ang pinakamalaking kasalanan ay kapag may kakayahan kang tumulong pero wala ka namang ginawa.”

Meanwhile, when it comes to portraying the role, Director Chito Roño commended her because she was not only focused and concentrated but she also did well. She juggled three characters in the series and she was accordingly great.
