La Primera Contravida actress Cherie Gil died at 59 years old and there are speculations online that said she died of cancer. In one of her final posts, she posted photos of herself in Memorial Sloan Kettering – Cancer Center in New York. This post has sparked speculations that she has this disease that eventually caused her unfortunate end.
Annabelle Rama was among the first people to confirm this sad news. Gil died on August 5 at 5 pm.

Vilma Santos expressed love for her friend.
Mikee Cojuangco recalls that she always used to sing for her parent’s campaign and she has witnessed this talent of hers apart from her acting prowess.
Richard Reynoso also had several times to work with her and every time, he was always amazed by how brilliant she was as a character actress.
A dear friend of the late actress, Megastar Sharon Cuneta was able to see her before she passed away. The Megastar is broken over great loss. She expressed, “I leave New York now with a much heavier heart than ever before.”

For her late aunt, Sid Lucero shared a heartfelt message. And for Sunshine Cruz, she described the day of her death as a “sad day in the industry”. She was able to work with her in Dolce Amore.
Zsazsa Padilla also expressed her devastation over a great loss. She was accordingly so passionate about her life and was good in anything she puts herself into and this is how she will always her.
