3 Construction Workers in Batangas Suffered Electrocution During Work

LIPA, BATANGAS – Three construction workers get hospitalized after suffering from electrocution during work.

Throughout the years, electrocution becomes one of the common causes of death among construction workers and several individuals. Electrical shock could cause mild to severe injury and may even lead to death.

Numerous individuals have died of electrocution in different circumstances. Some people got electrocuted while doing construction jobs while some of them were due to accidents.

The power distribution companies and the authorities were repeatedly reminding the consumers to be more careful when using electricity or any electrical-related activities to prevent electrocution.

Recently, three construction workers have been found unconscious and lying beside the road in Barangay Sampaguita, Lipa, Batangas. One of the victims is severely wounded due to the unexpected incident.

According to the police investigation, the laborers have been installing a drainage cover when the incident happened. The boom truck of the workers accidentally touched the power line cable, which causes the electrocution.

The victims have been rushed to the hospital for immediate treatment and medication. Currently, the construction employees survived the incident and are in stable condition while on their way to recovery.

The barangay also announced that the contractor will shoulder the hospital expenses and medication of the three victims.
