Woman in Aurora Dies of Electrocution Due to Videoke Microphone
CASIGURAN, AURORA – A woman dies of electrocution while using a microphone during a videoke session inside her own house.
Throughout the years, electrocution becomes one of the common causes of death among construction workers and several individuals. Electrical shock could cause mild to severe injury and may even lead to death.
Numerous individuals have died of electrocution in different circumstances. Some people got electrocuted while doing construction jobs while some of them were due to accidents.
Children usually suffer from electrocution after playing live wires or electrical outlets while adults probably suffer electric shock due to accident and other unexpected incident.
A lady resident identified Mary Jane Macahipay has passed away inside her own house at Barangay 1 Poblacion in Casiguran, Aurora after suffering from electrocution. She suffered electrocution after picking up a videoke microphone.
According to Mary Jane’s husband named Matt, he was the first to realize that the microphone is grounded. He experienced electrocution but his mother was able to save him from a near-death experience.
Matt’s mother was able to remove the microphone away from her son during the electrocution. However, Matt’s wife had no idea about the incident.
Unfortunately, Matt’s wife quickly took the microphone as she arrived at their home. The lady victim gets electrocuted and immediately collapsed. Macahipay has been rushed to the hospital but eventually passed away.
