PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Monday (July 25)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that a low-pressure area will bring scattered rainshowers over some parts of the country.

On Monday (July 25, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) released the latest weather update in the country. A low-pressure area will continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the low-pressure area has been last spotted at 455 km East Northeast of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte or 390 km East of Borongan City. The LPA will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon and Marinduque as well as entire Visayas.

The Localized Thunderstorms will be affecting Northern and Central Luzon.

The Localized Thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Apayao, Kalinga, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Benguet and Aurora.

Palawan including Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro as well as Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience similar weather conditions.

The weather agency has also warned the public for possible flash floods or landslides during flash floods or landslides.

“Kasalukuyan ay nakakaranas ng maulap na kalangitan na may mga pag-ulan sa bahagi ng Southern Luzon at sa Visayas,” Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Luzon will be slight to moderate. The seaboards of Visayas and Mindana will have moderate to rough surrounding sea conditions.
