This is what Paul Soriano said after being chosen to direct the SONA of President Bongbong Marcos.
PAUL SORIANO – Director Paul Soriano will be directing the first President Bongbong Marcos’ State Of The Nation Address.
Toni Gonzaga and her husband Paul Soriano are among the most active and most present personalities in the rallies of current president Bongbong Marcos during his campaign. They were vocal in supporting BBM and Vice President Sara Duterte.
They were castigated online for supporting a late dictator’s son but they were unbothered. In a previous article, during the inauguration of BBM, Toni sang the national anthem and expressed this regarding the said opportunity, “I am truly honored and humbled to be chosen by our new president to sing the national anthem in a very historic event for our country.”
Soriano, her husband, was the creative consultant for Marcos’ inauguration. And now, in the upcoming State Of The Nation Address of the new president, Soriano will be playing again an essential role. He will direct Marcos Jr.’s first SONA on July 25.
He is grateful and honored for this “rare opportunity” and assured the president to always be there whenever he needs him and that he will do his best.
“It will be simple and traditional and will focus on his message,” says Soriano who also revealed that the president is being hands-on in his speech.
He added based on a report from ABS-CBN, “The real challenge is for the public to hear him well. After all, this is a two-way process where listening skills is important to hear his message.”
Both Paul and Toni expressed that their Ninong Bong can always count on them to help him in whatever ways they can.
