Some people first knew of Paul Soriano as Kapamilya actress-host Toni Gonzaga’s husband. As a partner of a celebrity with such a huge following on social media, it is inevitable for him to be sent into the spotlight.

Paul is also an artist. He has made himself known as the director of great films including ‘Siargao,’ ‘First Love,’ and ‘A Journey Home.’ He is one of the best local directors today.

Paul Soriano’s wife interviewed the most controversial presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos last September. The interview has sparked a lot of discussions online and Toni became famous after many netizens accused her of assisting the Marcoses in spreading false information.

To recall, the former senator skipped the COMELEC conference on disqualification case against him on January 7, 2021, because he had “difficulty in speaking due to a painfully congested throat” and got exposed to two COVID-19 positive.

On January 29, Paul shared photos on Twitter showing BBM doing a shoot on January 8, 2022. Anti-Marcos internet users attacked and condemned his Tweet. Some of them said Paul was an accomplice of quarantine violation while others thanked him for exposing BBM.
