Ella Cruz Slammed Online, Says “May Hindi Tama Sa Nababasa Natin”

After “history is like chismis” claims, Ella Cruz trends again and netizens have these reactions.

ELLA CRUZ – Many netizens online disagree with what Ella Cruz has recently said following her “history is like chismis”

History is like chismis” say Ella Cruz before. She is a part of “Maid in Malacañang”, an upcoming film about the Marcos family’s last 72 hours in Malacanang Palace. To recall, the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr. was ousted from the position due to allegations of cheating, political turmoil, and human rights abuses that led to the People Power Revolution.

And this is the full statement of the actress:

“History is like tsismis. It is filtered and dagdag na rin, so, hindi natin alam what is the real history. Andoon na iyong idea, pero may mga bias talaga. As long as we’re here alive at may kanya-kanyang opinion, I respect everyone’s opinion.”

It earned a lot of comments and reactions and most are against at what the actress has claimed. And now, it seems like she did it again. Personally meeting the Marcos family made her doubt all the readings and studying she did in school.

‘Ba’t ganun nabasa ko sa libro?’ she expressed.

What she read about them was accordingly the opposite of what she has experienced with them when she did the movie.

Many people reacted to this and some expressed that Ella’s ignorance of history is getting worse. The young actress furthered that it is not her intention to offend historians and stressed that she’s just really experienced a different thing compared to what was stated in books.

One commenter of the post even demanded Ella to reveal proper citations from the book she read and provide details like the title, author, and publisher of the book. And some even dared her to talk to martial victims to know the truth about this era in the past.
