Is there a chance between Ruffa Gutierrez and Yilmaz Bektas to rekindle the romance?
RUFFA GUTIERREZ – Actress and host Ruffa Gutierrez speaks about the possibility of getting back with her ex-husband Yilmaz Bektas.
Binibining Pilipinas World 1993 and Second Runner-up to Miss World 1993 Ruffa Gutierrez got married in 2003 to Yilmaz Bektas, a Turkish businessman. She changed her life for the marriage and the relationship but received unpleasant experiences in return.
It was never a secret that she suffered so much while being with him and this led to their separation in 2007, just four years after they tied the knot. For years, they have never seen each other since the separation. They maintain communication for their children but their talks would often just end up fighting over the phone.
The reunion he had with his children which happened just this year was accordingly three years in the making because they couldn’t agree on many things. Ruffa said that she was scared before to let her daughter be with their dad but this year, everything happened naturally. She was at peace and healed and that was why she finally allowed her daughter to go on their own and finally see their father.
And it seems like this is where Ruffa draws the line in their relationship because when talks about rekindling the romance with him are something she immediately dismissed. She quipped “walang return of the comeback” with her ex-husband.
She has forgiven him a long time ago already but there’s no chance that they will be together again. Ruffa clarified, “Walang return of the comeback. Ano lang ito comeback reunion talaga ng mga anak ko at si Yilmaz.”
With everything she has done for her marriage then with the Turkish, she is now uncertain if she can do it all again with another man. She thinks she might if the person would be her “forever love” based on an interview.
