Lorin Gutierrez Speaks About Mom Ruffa Gutierrez, Dad Yilmaz Bektas
LORIN GUTIERREZ – The showbiz newbie made a revelation about her parents, actress-beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez and Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas.
The Gutierrez is one of the most popular clans in showbiz. Many of their family members are actors and actresses and have lived a celebrity life for decades already.
One of the actresses from the Gutierrez family is actress-beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez. She is the Binibining Pilipinas World 1993 and the Miss World 1993 Second Runner-Up. With regards to her showbiz career, she was only a teenager when she entered the showbiz industry in the 1980s.
Considering her celebrity status, the people witnessed several milestones in her life including her marriage to Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas in 2003. However, they separated after four (4) years of being husband and wife.
The marriage of Ruffa Gutierrez and Yilmaz Bektas was blessed with two (2) daughters – Lorin Gutierrez and Venice Gutierrez. Both of them flew with their mother to the Philippines after the separation. They are under her custody.

Meanwhile, despite the separation and all the issues that surrounded their marriage, both Ruffa and Yilmaz are trying to be the best parents for their daughters.
Based on a recent report on Pep, their eldest daughter, Lorin Gutierrez, recently made revelations about her parents, Ruffa Gutierrez and Yilmaz Bektas. She is entering showbiz which is really her decision.
According to Lorin, she did not get the permission of her father to join showbiz as she did not actually asked him. Meanwhile, she assured that there is an “open line of communication” between her parents so she believes her mother has informed her father about it.
“They still communicate, to try it, co-parent me and Venice as best as possible. And my mom definitely informed him of it,” Lorin Gutierrez spoke about her mom, Ruffa Gutierrez, and dad, Yilmaz Bektas.
Lorin stressed that she asked Ruffa’s permission in joining showbiz. Based on the report, she really waited for the right time to enter the industry and follow the footsteps of her family.
The eldest daughter of Ruffa is turning 18 years old in August. However, due to the pandemic now, she won’t be having a huge party. According to her, she does not want to be insensitive to the plight of those who are suffering amid the situation now.
