Nowadays, jeepney drivers are frustrated and struggling with the surging prices of petroleum products including gasoline, diesel, and kerosene. The continuous fuel price hike also caused an increase in the price of basic commodities.
The surging prices of basic commodities and other vital services cause frustration and stress to the Filipino people. The public jeepney drivers are also stressed due to their lesser income as oil prices increase.
However, Filipinos need to remain calm and patient in any circumstances to avoid further troubles.
The Facebook page “Bombo Radyo Bacolod” has shared video footage of an intense fistfight between jeepney drivers in Bacolod City. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that the two individuals were having a commotion in the middle of the road. The younger driver beats the elderly man who failed to fight back and defend himself after he was cornered.
Luckily, another driver intervened and tried to stop the two from fighting. The driver was able to stop the two and returned to their respective jobs right after the incident. A patrol car has been also spotted in the area.
The incident happened in front of SM mall in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
