Will Sarah Geronimo be a Kapuso soon?
A source close to Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo revealed something about the rumors claiming that she will transfer to GMA-7.
Previously, it was rumored that Sarah’s husband Matteo Guidicelli is already negotiating with the management of the Kapuso network regarding his network transfer. It was also alleged that the singer-actress will follow her husband’s move to the rival network of ABS-CBN.
Just recently, rumors also surfaced that GMA has already acquired the franchise of the The Voice Kids in which Sarah Geronimo is one of the mentors.
Amid these speculations, based on the article in the Philippine Entertainment Portal, a source close to the Popstar Royalty clarified that there is no truth to this. The said source stressed that Sarah will not transfer to GMA where she formerly belongs when she became a performer on the defunct Sunday noontime variety show SOP.
It was also clarified by the source that Sarah will return to ABS-CBN’s Sunday noontime variety show ASAP Natin ‘To next month. However, starting July 2022, her stint in the said show will just be once a month. She will not have a regular appearance in the show every week.
The singer-actress is now enjoying her role as a wife to Matteo. Sarah is also busy recording new songs for her upcoming album, the source revealed.
Meanwhile, Sarah Geronimo is now the president of G Studios, the production company that she and her husband established last year. Just recently, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the company’s new building in Muntinlupa City.
“Not many people know but [Sarah Geronimo] is G Studious’ President. How she has bloomed with husband [Matteo Guidicelli] and the whole family’s trust and 101 percent support,” as social media post of the couple’s friend stated.
