Is it true that the mental state of Tom Rodriguez has something to do with his breakup with Carla Abellana?
Kapuso actor Tom Rodriguez allegedly tried to end his life many times already while he and actress Carla Abellana were still together.
The controversies surrounding the breakup of Tom and Carla kept on adding new issues. In a recent Showbiz Update vlog of comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz, he said that his source made new revelations.
Ogie said that someone close to Carla revealed that the actress’s concern was more about Tom’s mental state. He also said that the actress has advised the actor to seek professional help, just like what she did.
In Carla Abellana’s now-deleted comment on YouTube, she said that she really wanted Tom Rodriguez to get help but he refused to do so. “Kasi may mga episodes pala si Tom noong araw, na muntik na niyang kitlin,” Ogie said and Mama Loi added, “ang kaniyang buhay.”
The comedian-talent manager said that allegedly the actor has tried to end his life almost 11 times already and he said that this was Carla’s main concern that she wanted to be addressed.
Ogie also mentioned a portion of Tom’s statement saying that he never laid a hand on Carla. The source of Ogie said that there were times when the actor was angry, he would hurt Carla. However, the comedian-talent manager said that Tom could correct this statement if this is not true.
When Mama Loi asked if why Carla let herself get married to Tom when these problems were already occurring, the question that has been lingering in the minds of many people also, Ogie said that was because the actress was still hoping that the actor will change eventually.
As of this writing, Tom Rodriguez has not yet released a statement about this allegation.
