Is it true that Sarah Geronimo chose this tandem in the 2022 elections?
A source claim that Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo voted for this tandem contrary to what most of her fans expected.
Sarah is one of the biggest names in showbiz nowadays. She did many sold-out concerts, blockbuster movies, hit albums, and high-rated TV shows. With her success and good image in the entertainment industry, it is no wonder that her fans looked up to her not just as a celebrity but as a person also.
This election season, fans of the singer-actress expected her to endorse presidential and vice-presidential candidates. Some even assumed that she is Kakampink because of a viral post that her management Viva Artists Agency clarified as “fake.”
Even his husband, actor Matteo Guidicelli has not endorsed any candidate and VAA has stressed this. The only post that Sarah shared about the 2022 elections was as a reminder to voters to choose wisely.
However, based on the article by entertainment columnist Dondon Sermino in Abante, it was said that Sarah Geronimo voted for the tandem of Senator Ping Lacson and Senate President Tito Sotto.
The columnist said that a person close to the Popstar Royalty said that she voted for the former Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief. Then, a singer-TV host, who is visible during the campaign rallies of the Lacson-Sotto tandem shared that Sarah voted for them.
However, Semino said that this is what is circulating now but no confirmation yet. “Well usap usapan pa lang naman ito at mahirap kumpirmahin dahil hindi nga naglantad si Sarah ng tunay niyang kulay,” the showbiz writer said.
Meanwhile, when Sarah Geronimo was asked what she felt after she voted, she answered with just one word, “Ninenerbyos!”
