Cops Arrest 3 Suspects for Convenience Store Robbery in NCR & CALBARZON
The police authorities arrested the three suspects who were wanted for convenience store robbery in Metro Manila and CALABARZON.
The three suspects have been arrested by the police authorities during a follow-up operation at a convenience store in Parañaque City. According to the investigation, the suspects opened the door using a bolt cutter.
The thieves break into the vicinity and stole the store’s income worth P60, 000, CCTV recorded, and CPU. The culprits immediately escaped using a getaway vehicle but a witness was able to memorize the vehicle’s plate number.
The witness immediately reported it to the police authorities. The cops were able to trace the vehicle and arrest the suspects at their address in Tondo, Manila. The thieves were breaking into convenience stores after the closing time.
The authorities discovered that one of the suspects is a leader of a ‘lucky robbery and kidnapping group’ while the remaining two were ex-convicts who were jailed due to robbery extortion charges.
“May mga incident involving itong grupo na ito somewhere in southern Metro Manila actually Muntinlupa yung isa pang kasama nila and isa po sila sa subject ng ating mga intelligence,” the police said.
The suspects targeted one franchise of the convenience store and victimized about 13 stores since January 2022.
