The NBI officials recovered the red paper bag containing P500, 000 under the table of the BIR officer. According to the authorities, the suspect is giving a high tax assessment, which leaves the victims with no choice but to make an agreement with her.

One of the victims revealed that Albao charged him P3 million tax deficiency but promised to make it P2 million in exchange for some amount. The suspect also threatened to freeze the victim’s assets once it failed to pay.

Albao will face charges of robbery-extortion and violation of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act. The suspect has yet to give a statement regarding the matter.
