The arrest of the ex-cop, identified as Police Officer 3 Allan Encina Formilleza, occurred at around 11 AM on Monday, June 15, in Las Palmas Subdivision, Barangay Caypombo, Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

Forilleza was formerly assigned at the Quezon City Police District. He, however, went AWOL or absence without official leave in 2019.

Major Rannie Lumactod, spokesperson of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) spokesperson, said that law enforcers serve three arrest warrants on Formilleza .

This was issued by the Regional Trial Court National Capital Judicial Region for charges of murder, theft and estafa.

Based on the report, Formilleza is a member of the “gapos gang”, which runs their operations in the National Capital Region and Central Luzon. They primarily target wealthy BIR officials.
