Vice Ganda, Other Showtime Hosts Excited Over Anne Curtis' Return

Here’s how excited Vice Ganda and other hosts are over the comeback of Anne Curtis in Its Showtime.

VICE GANDA – After two years, Anne Curtis is finally coming back to Its Showtime and her fellow hosts have these reactions.

In a previous article, Kapamilya superstar Anne Curtis announces her coming back to Its Showtime two years after she took her maternity leave. She said “This time. Tomorrow. FINALLY. See you MADLANG PEOPLE!” as she used the hashtag #ANNEditoNaSaShowtime.

To recall, the last time we have seen the actress on Showtime was in December 2019. She was in tears as she bid goodbye to her fellow hosts as she will not be able to see them for a long time. She gave birth in March 2020 and initially planned to return once Dahlia turns 1.

However, the rising cases of COVID-19 infection stopped her from coming back. For two years, she played the hand-on mother role and she is indeed at it. It’s the role of being a mother that she truly loved the most. Dahlia is now two years old and she is finally returning. She comes back to Showtime and she will come back with a concert.

And in the Friday episode of the noontime show, hosts such as Vice Ganda and Vhong Navarro expressed their excitement.

“Alam niyo two weeks pini-prepare ang production number bukas ni Anne. Ay ‘day abangan niyo, sinasabi ko,” says Vice. Vhong even teasingly expressed that he’s nervous about Anne coming back because she’s walking backward. He’s referring to the video announcement of the actress.

On Twitter, Vice expressed, “Showtime welcomes back [Anne Curtis] chumorow. Excited much!!!”
