On May 27, VP Leni shared a post on Facebook dedicated to the late Secretary. It could have been the 64th birthday of Jesse Robredo.

The Vice President reposted what she previously posted. “Remembering one great husband and father, whose extraordinariness was in his ordinariness. His life, though short, was purposeful. It’s the kind of life we strive to live, every single day,” she said.

A virtual Mass was held on Friday for his 64th birthday of the late government official. During this, VP Leni Robredo honored her late husband, based on the report from Inquirer.

Natutuwa po kami that on the 10th year that Jesse has not been with us, his legacy lives on. Not just in our lives, but in the lives of the many people he also touched,” she said.

VP Leni added that this is a blessing for them because all they want is that people will appreciate the life of her husband, and the father of her children.
